TAKE A CLASS FROM ANGEL HERRING!
In this class you will learn to service your machine yourself so it will continue to sew for many years. You will develop the skill set to clean, oil, and grease the proper locations to keep your machine running in tip top shape. When you leave the class, you will feel empowered!
You will also learn some tricks to sewing with your machine and gain confidence in using it on a regular basis if you so desire. We will practice your new skill set so you are comfortable enough to start piecing a quilt top or your next sewing project. THEN, you are ready to take the PART 2 class. In this class, you will identify, label, and use the six basic attachments as well as other ones that were "upsales" back in the day.

January 18 - Featherweight Maintenance Class - Hosted by Alvin Quilt Guild - Members and Non-members are welcome to attend the class. (Please contact Robin Foster at 281-910-0341 to sign up for the class. You will receive a starter kit of items with the paid admission. We will have supplies available to purchase. Outside supplies from other vendors are not allowed.)

**Featherweight PART 2 - In this class we will identify the correct part numbers and go over how to use the vintage attachments and feet.

If the commute is too far to a shop for someone, I offer private lessons or small group workshops for in person and on line learning.
